MON, JUN 10 (Day 1)  We drive eastward along the scenic Connecticut coast, arriving in the afternoon in Cape Cod. Our local guide will greet us at our hotel. We will enjoy a delicious dinner before settling in for a relaxing evening.  Next four nights in West Yarmouth, MA. (D)

TUE, JUN 11 (Day 2)  Today, our guide escorts us to the Hy-Line Ferry. There we will board the ferry, Little Grey Lady, which will take us to the stunning island of Nantucket. Washed by the Atlantic with beaches and water incredibly clear and sparkling, Nantucket has a history of seafaring greatness. Over 800 homes built between 1740 and 1840 by brave whaling men still stand lovingly preserved. Once on land, we will have free time to visit the shops, galleries, museums and restaurants within walking distance of the dock. Next, we will enjoy a Nantucket Island Tour to see the many delights of this charming village and enjoy dinner together.  (B, D)

WED, JUN 12 (Day 3)  We head once again to the Docks where we board the ferry, this time bound for Martha’s Vineyard.  Here, we’ll take a local bus for a down-island tour where we can explore the different villages and learn about the history and lifestyles of the islanders.  There will also be time for lunch and shopping in the historic whaling port of Edgartown before traveling back.  Tonight a delicious dinner awaits us at a well-known restaurant.  (B,  D)

THU, JUN 13 (Day 4)  A  local guide joins us for a tour of Cape Cod, beginning in the "hub" of the Cape, Hyannis. We will make stops at the Kennedy Memorial and the Korean War Memorial, drive through the village of Hyannisport and view St. Francis Xavier Church. Next, we will take a scenic drive through colonial villages filled with wonderful examples of New England architecture.  We will view the Eastham Windmill and stop at the newly renovated Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor's Center. Our final destination will be in Provincetown, a unique village with a rich history that combines a love of the sea and the arts. Of special interest today is the whale watch cruise, where we will watch these gentle giants in their natural habitat. We will then travel to a fine local restaurant for a lobster dinner before a relaxing evening at our hotel.
(B, D)

FRI, JUN 14 (Day 5)  We head towards home today stopping at Olde Mystik Village to stretch our legs, have lunch and enjoy the New England atmosphere one more time before continuing homeward.  (B, D)
