Facts & Questions (FAQs) Planning
your next getaway is exciting, and you may have questions as you proceed
with your plans. The
following questions and answers may be helpful in registering for a tour. Can
you send me an itinerary for this tour?
Answer – Complete tour information is included in our
tour book. Cancellation
policies, maps & directions, and reservation forms are also provided
in the tour book for your convenience. There is no additional itinerary information available for
our tours. If you do not have
a current tour book, please call our office, and we will be happy to mail
one to you. You may also access the full itinerary and other
information on this website. Will
I get any more information after I register?
Answer – After you register for a tour, a confirmation
will be sent to you, and the next information you receive will be the
Final Details sent to you approximately two weeks before the tour departs.
An exception would be for some longer tours, when a mid-letter may
be sent to you with information you should be informed of earlier than two
weeks from the tour departure. How much
payment is due when I sign up for this tour?
Answer - For 1-Day tours, full
payment is required at time of registration.
Overnight tours require the deposit amount to secure your
registration. If you register at the time final payment is due for an
overnight tour, then the full tour cost is due at time of registration.
**Although we will hold space for you for 10 days, your payment confirms
your registration. Will
I receive a receipt for my payment? Answer
– Yes, receipts will be sent for all payments received for tour
reservations. Will
you send me a reminder of when my final payment is due?
Answer – For 1-Day Tours, full payment is due at
registration. Overnight tours require a deposit at time of registration.
The itinerary states the final payment due date, and we ask you to
mark your calendar with that date. We
do not send reminders of final payments due for a tour. What
is the deadline for signing up for this tour?
Answer -We strongly suggest you register as soon as you
decide to join a tour. Some
tours fill quickly and your registration, with payment, will secure your
registration and allow us to accommodate you as best as possible.
For some overnight tours, hotels and attractions require monies be
sent many months before the tour departs; therefore there are early
deadlines on some tours. Early
deadlines may vary from tour to tour.
How
do I know I am on the tour? Answer – We will send you a
receipt, which confirms your reservation. The
tour is full and I am on the waitlist.
What are the chances of space opening up? Answer
– There is no way for us to know if there will be cancellations on
any given tour. If you are notified that space is now available, you
are not obligated to register for that tour. If your plans have changed
and you are not able to join us, just let us know that when we call you. Is
there a lot of walking on this tour?
Answer – Each person's concept of "too much
walking" is different. On most of our tours, you may have the
option to drop out of an activity to rest if you need to. Will
I receive tickets before my tour (shows, games, etc.)? Do
you assign seats on the coach?
Answer – Yes, we assign seats for all tours in the
order that your register with your deposit. On overnight tours,
we
have a procedure of seat rotation, which we feel is fair to our tour travelers. Explanation of seat rotation is handled by the tour
director, on the motorcoach, after
the tour departure. Do
you have insurance?
Answer - Yes, insurance information is available upon
request,
through Travel Guard Insurance. What
if I need to cancel off of a tour? Answer
– If it becomes necessary for you to cancel, call our office as soon
as possible. If the tour is full and there is a waiting list, we
will try and find a replacement for you. If a replacement is not
found, the motorcoach
tour cancellation policy or air/cruise
tour cancellation policy will take effect. What
is your cancellation policy? Answer

do you pick-up?
Answer – Our tours originate in Lancaster, PA, on the
Lancaster Bible College campus, 901 Eden Road, Lancaster, PA.
An additional pickup is made at the Walmart (Junction Rt. 222 &
Rt. 322) in Ephrata, PA. Depending
on the direction the tour is traveling, the Ephrata pickup may be before
or after the Lancaster, PA, pickup. Also,
depending on the direction the tour is traveling, there may be an
additional pick-up point. If
an additional pick-up point is available, it is noted in the tour
itinerary. For the Ephrata pickup, why is the pick-up time sometimes earlier than the Lancaster Bible College pick-up time? Answer – The Ephrata pickup time depends on the direction the tour is traveling. That is the reason sometimes it is earlier, or before the Lancaster pickup, and sometimes later, or after the Lancaster pickup.
