WED, FEB 20 (Day 1)
Get ready for the ultimate vacation. One of the great engineering feats of the 20th century, the Panama Canal, accomplished what nature did not by connecting the Atlantic to the Pacific and reducing the 12,000 mile sailing distance between New York and San Francisco by more than 7,000 miles. Your vacation begins as we fly to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

THU, FEB 21 (Day 2)
This morning, glide through the Everglades at speeds up to 35 mph on a propeller-driven airboat amidst the sawgrass trails. A uniquely skilled guide will make stops along the way, allowing you to see and learn about the inhabitants of the world’s most unique ecosystem. Later, take a leisurely stroll, people watch, sip a cappucinno at an outdoor café or shop in the chic boutiques along Las Olas Boulevard, a sophisticated mile of fashion, art and sidewalk cafés. This evening you will embark on your Panama Canal cruise aboard Holland America’s MS Volendam. Blue skies overhead, an aqua sea at the ship’s bow and you’re on your way to view firsthand the force of vision, engineering and will that is the Panama Canal. To-night, enjoy dinner on board your ship. (B, D)

FRI, FEB 22 (Day 3)
Half Moon Cay, the highest-rated port-of-call on Holland America’s cruise itineraries, is located on 65 acres of the 2,400 acre Little San Salvador Island in the Bahamas and is available only to guests of the cruise line. Whether you want to parasail, snorkel, stroll barefoot on a pristine two-mile beach, lie in a hammock beneath a palm tree, or gain insight into the Bahamian history, people and culture, you’ll find it on Half Moon Cay. (B, L, D)

SAT, FEB 23 (Day 4)
On your first full day of leisure at sea, enjoy the many amenities on board your ship. The MS Volendam features two outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, spa and salon, internet center, casino, movie theatre, Explorations Café, and a Culinary Arts Center, presented by Food and Wine Magazine. (B, L, D)

SUN, FEB 24 (Day 5)
Oranjestad, Aruba’s capital, is a Dutch jewel with a tropical touch. Explore the colorful floating market and Nassaustraat, brimming with quaint shops. Head for the beach where water sports abound, snorkeling, rides on glass bottom boats and submarines. Or venture into the countryside to see the haunts of the huge green parakeet, the unique rock gardens of Casi Bari, or the curious divi divi tree, forever bending in the tradewind breezes. (B, L, D)

MON, FEB 25 (Day 6)
Today, visit an isle of Dutch treats with the climate of coastal Venezuela. Curaco, boasting Amsterdam-style gabled storybook houses in the Punda section, duty-free Delftware always on sale, and the famous Curacao orange-flavored liquer, is sure to delight! (B, L, D)

TUE, FEB 26 (Day 7)
Take advantage of the many amenities on board your ship. Or perhaps you’ll choose to relax, soak up the sun and do absolutely nothing. The choice is yours. (B, L, D)

WED, FEB 27 (Day 8)
The motto of the Panama Canal, “the land divided, the world united,” comes to life as you cruise this amazing man-made wonder. Watch as the great locks lead your ship into the 50-mile waterway. You enter the Panama Canal at Cristobal, Panama, and cruise through three sets of Gatun Locks to Gatun Lake. After cruising Gatun Lake, leave the Panama Canal at Cristobel, Panama, and cruise Limon & Manzanillo Bay. Without question, the best way to experience this magnificent wonder is from the deck of your ship. From this privileged vantage point, you get an incomparable perspective of this ingenious system of locks that lifts giant ships from sea level up to a lake nearly 85 feet above sea level, and then gently lowers them again. The canal is really a bridge of water—and that’s its brilliance. (B, L, D)

THU, FEB 28 (Day 9)
Surrounded by nearly half of all the animal species on earth and 8,000 species of plants, marvel as you take the opportunity to tour tropical flower farms or ride a Mawamba boat through the jungle canals near Puerto Limon. Explore the capital city of San José, where museums beckon and markets burst with luscious local tastes—mangoes, bananas, pineapples, papayas. (B, L, D)

FRI, FEB 29 (Day 10)
With all the amenities of a fine resort, there is always something to do while on board the MS Volendam. Indulge in abundant activities and choices. Take a yoga or Pilates class, go for a swim in the pool up on deck, melt under the spell of a massage in the Greenhouse Spa & Salon, attend a cooking demonstration in the Culinary Arts Center, improve your bridge game or craft an e-mail to friends back home. Discovery—both of the Panama Canal and of new places within yourself—is the true spirit of world travel. (B, L, D)

SAT, MAR 1 (Day 11)
Enjoy your last day at sea as you wish. It’s a perfect time to explore areas of the ship you have yet to visit, revisit your favorite spots, or simply relax on deck. (B, L, D)

SUN, MAR 2 (Day 12)
Your cruise tour ends as you disembark your cruise ship in Ft. Lauderdale and fly home.

This tour is being offered in cooperation with Collette Tours.

TUE, MAR 4 (Day 1)
This morning we are transported to the airport for our trans-oceanic flight to Hawaii. Upon arrival in Honolulu, the most populated of the Hawaiian Islands, you will be greeted in the age-old Hawaiian tradition—a flower 'lei' and a warm "Aloha" from a native Hawaiian. We will be transported to our beautiful oceanfront hotel. Tonight is at your leisure. Don't miss the sunset!

WED, MAR 5 (Day 2)
After a get-acquainted breakfast, your tour manager will brief you on the included and optional tours, tell you how to get around on the island, and suggest things to see and do. You'll have free time this morning to shop or take a dip in the Waikiki surf. We take a sightseeing tour of Honolulu, the fabled capital city of the beautiful state of Hawaii. See the Capital Building, Chinatown, Iolani Palace, Punchbowl's National Cemetery of the Pacific, and many other places of interest. (B)

THU, MAR 6 (Day 3)
Today we begin our 100-mile plus Circle Island ramble. We turn north on our circle tour, past Schofield Barracks and through the pineapple fields, where we'll make a stop for fresh pineapple and see the many varieties of pineapples growing in a test plot. We enjoy a bountiful buffet lunch at the Turtle Bay Resort. We continue on, taking time to admire the views of the famed North Shore surf, where championship surfing competitions are held each year. We make a picture stop at Lay Point, then on to the Bays of Kaneohe, Kailua, and Waimanalo for a look at the blowhole. (L)

FRI, MAR 7 (Day 4)
We ascend the 12,000-foot pass on Nuuanu-Pali, and continue up Oahu's windward coast to Laie and the Polynesian Cultural Center's open-air museum—a showcase of Pacific islander's lifestyles and crafts. Tonight you'll enjoy a Polynesian-style dinner and the much-acclaimed "Horizons" Show. (D)

SAT, MAR 8 (Day 5)
We transfer to the airport for a flight to the Island of Kauai and begin our Island Tour with Waimea Canyon, the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. After lunch, we will enjoy our second Kauai experience. A short cruise up the Wailua River brings us to the haunting splendor of the Fern Grotto, where we stand under the giant fern room and listen to our guides sing the beautiful Hawaiian Wedding Song. We check into our rooms on the ocean for a two night stay. (L)

SUN, MAR 9 (Day 6)
Today we enjoy a leisurely day. Our hotel is located on the beach; explore the beautiful setting or possibly take in a game of golf or a helicopter flight-seeing excursion.

MON, MAR 10 (Day 7)
After a short flight to the Big Island of Hawaii, we tour Hilo, stopping at Rain-bow Falls and the Orchard Nursery. The drive then ascends to Hawaii Volcanos National Park. We'll see the geological phenomena of the island's still active volcanoes—awesome, but not fearsome, including the Kilauea Crater. Marvel at steaming vents, giant lava tubes, and sultry clouds billowing from deep fissures in the earth. The eerie lava-covered landscape is so like the moon's surface that astronauts have trained here. After lunch we'll see the black sand beach as we continue our drive around the island. We spend two nights in Kona. (L)

TUE, MAR 11 (Day 8)
Today you have a choice of activities: either spend the day relaxing and enjoying the surroundings of our beautiful resort, or join us for a mid-day trip to Kailua-Kona for a glass bottom boat ride around Kailua Bay and a chance to browse the shops of this quaint harbor town. Avid shoppers will find a myriad of fine shops, and for the fishermen in the group, local captains can arrange a half or full day of sport fishing. The waters of Kona are famous for giant Pacific Blue Marlin. Many world record catches have been recorded here.

WED, MAR 12 (Day 9)
This morning we fly to Maui, the second largest island in the Hawaiian chain, referred to as the Valley Island. Later we check into our elegant hotel located in the bustling Kaanapali Resort, for the next three nights. Kaanapali Resort is an elegant tourist hotel complex built around the famed Kaanapali Golf Course, host of the 1964 World Cup. Included in the complex is Whaler's Village, the world's only shopping center with a 36-foot whale skeleton hanging from the hooks!

THU, MAR 13 (Day 10)
Today we climb to the world's largest dormant volcano, mighty Haleakala. At this point, we're just 88 miles from Oahu, but it's a different world. Uncrowded country, lush tropical flora, cowboys and sugarcane plantations are just a few of the attractions. After lunch, we drive up the Yosemite-like gorge of the Iao Valley and stop for photos at Iao Needle, towering 2,250 feet above sea level. It's a 22-mile circle drive south and then northwest
around the scenic coast to Lahaina, capital of the old monarchy and an important whaling center from 1840 to 1865. You may want to return to Lahaina tomorrow. (L)

FRI, MARCH 14 (Day 11)
Today, you are free for your own adventures. Lahaina is a fun place to explore, as is nearby Whaler’s Village. Some of us might like to learn how to sail a catamaran, windsurf or paddle an outrigger canoe. Boat rentals are available with or without crew, and there are also short yacht cruises. A shuttle bus departs our hotel frequently with stops at the other hotels and shopping places. Your tour director is available to assist you with plans.

SAT/SUN, MAR 15 & 16 (Days 12 & 13)
Today we must bid a farewell "aloha" to these beautiful islands, and to a dream vacation. We are transported to Honolulu International Airport for our homebound flight, but we'll never forget the sights and sounds of the tropical paradise we call Hawaii.

SUN, APR 27 (Day 1)
Today we are transferred to the airport for our trans-Atlantic overnight flight to Thessaloniki, Greece, where our journey begins.

MON, APR 28 (Day 2)
This morning we land in Thessaloniki, Greece, and are transferred to our local hotel. We have the balance of the day at leisure. We spend the next two nights in Thessaloniki where we'll enjoy this evening's welcome dinner together. (D)

TUE, APR 29 (Day 3)
Today we leave on a full-day excursion along the ancient route of Apostle Paul to Amphipolis. We journey to ancient Phillipi, where Paul established the first church in Europe. A city named after Alexander's father, it was here that Paul baptized Lydia, the first believer in Europe, and he and Silas were imprisoned for healing a slave. We'll also travel to Kavala, ancient port of Neapolis (Acts 16:11). Paul visited here before going on to Phillipi. We travel back to Thessaloniki for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

WED, APR 30 (Day 4)
This morning we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Thessaloniki (Acts 17:1), where Paul also started a church (Acts 17:1-9). Thessaloniki still wears the face of the ancient city named after the sister of Alexander the Great in 316 BC. Still standing are the Roman market, theater, baths, the city walls and other reminders of the civilization into which Paul ventured to plant the seeds of the church during his missionary journeys. Afterwards we visit Veria (Berea of the New Testament), where Paul and Silas were taken (Acts 17:11). We'll visit the place where, according to tradition, Paul stood and delivered a sermon, then continue to Kalambaka for our next overnight. Din-ner is included in this evening. (B, D)

THU, MAY 1 (Day 5)
Today, on our way to Athens, we visit Meteora and tour two of the incredible monasteries built there. Situated atop vast rocks, the 14th-century monasteries compose one of the most breathtaking sights in the world. Inside the monasteries we discover many historical and religious treasures. We'll admire the beautiful Byzantine frescoes and the spectacular view from above the town. We continue to Athens for dinner and our overnight. (B, D)

FRI, MAY 2 (Day 6)
Today in Piraeus we board our ship and begin our incredible three-day Greece and Turkey Cruise. Our first stop will be a visit to the mountainous island of Mykonos. Mykonos Island is one of the most cosmopolitan islands of Greece and even the Mediterranean. We'll have free time to explore the island, and then return to the ship for evening entertainment. (B, L, D)

SAT, MAY 3 (Day 7)
Today we visit Rhodes with an excursion to Lindos, where Apostle Paul landed in 51 AD. In the Old City we'll see the palaces built by the Knights of St. John during the Crusades. (B, L, D)

SUN, MAY 4 (Day 8)
Today we visit the Isle of Patmos, the "Jerusalem of the Aegean." We'll see the Monastery of St. John and tour the Cave of the Apocalypse where St. John wrote the Book of Revelation. Next we'll stop in Kusadasi and take a sightseeing tour in Ephesus, to whose inhabitants the Apostle Paul wrote his famous epistle. We'll also visit the ruins and House of Mary. (B, L, D)

MON, MAY 5 (Day 9)
This morning we disembark from our cruise in Piraeus and visit the ruins of Corinth where Apostle Paul worked with Aquila and Priscilla. Corinth will give us a glimpse of Paul living among a people devoted to idolatry, as he preached morality in this seaport city. It was from here that Paul wrote his letter to the Thessalonians. We make our way back to Athens where our sightseeing tour includes the Acropolis with the Parthenon and Areopagus (Mars Hill), where Paul delivered his famous sermon (Acts 17:22). This evening we enjoy a farewell dinner in Athens. (B, D)

TUE, MAY 6 (Day 10)
Today our homebound flight arrives the same day that we leave. (B)

This tour is being offered in cooperation with Christian Tours.

(Day 1)
Today is mainly a day of travel as we get to know each other while making appropriate rest and meal stops along the way. Our overnight accommodations are in Bristol, VA. (D)

(Day 2)
Following breakfast at our hotel, we will travel to Asheville, NC, and enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful city. The city of Asheville is located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is known for its natural beauty. One of our visits today will be at The Cove—Billy Graham Training Center. Tucked away among pristine natural surroundings, the center exists to train, equip and encourage believers as they share the gospel worldwide. Next, we enjoy the beauty and scope of Chimney Rock Park. Featured on “Good Morning America,” the park was showcased as a must-see due to its spectacular natural beauty. An elevator ride will take us to an amazing view atop a towering 315-foot monolith located on the very edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, high above beautiful Hickory Nut Gorge. At a soaring elevation of 2,280 feet with its 75-mile views, this mountain top experience will take your breath away! Our dinner and overnight accommodations are in Charlotte, NC. (B,D)

(Day 3)
After breakfast, we will board the coach for a fascinating visit to the brand new Billy Graham Library. A flowing exhibit will invite you to follow One Man’s Journey from the pastures and gravel roads of North Carolina; to “big tents” and arenas in America’s largest cities; to stadiums, televisions, and radios across the globe. Displays of historic backdrops will alternate with multimedia screening theaters showing events and milestones of Mr. Graham’s lifelong mission—to tell others about the love of Christ. The Library includes a bookstore—named “Ruth’s Attic” after his wife, Ruth Bell Graham, an author, poet and lover of literature—with unique gifts and Christian literature, as well as a rustic café, where we will relax and enjoy a lunch menu which includes chicken salad made with Ruth Graham’s very own recipe! Before we leave, we will tour Billy’s boyhood home and the gardens where his wife, Ruth Bell Graham is buried. Then we travel to Belmont, NC, to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens. More than 110 acres of lush gardens await us, featuring 12 sparkling fountains, abundant garden wildlife and a garden store with lots of treasures, including plants, books, gardening tools and unique gifts for purchase. Time is allowed to relax and freshen up at our hotel before boarding our coach to NarroWay Productions Christian Dinner Theatre, for a delightful dinner and show. (B, D)

(Day 4)
This morning, we board the coach after breakfast to visit Mt. Airy, NC, the hometown of one of television’s most beloved actors, Andy Griffith. Here, we will take a trip back to a simpler time, and the stroll down Main Street will remind us of the town of Mayberry. In fact, it’s the closest thing to Mayberry that you can get. Andy Griffith grew up here and incorporated names of places and people from Mount Airy on The Andy Griffith Show. Fans of the show can visit Floyd’s City Barber Shop, the Old Mayberry Jail, and even Andy’s childhood home. You’ll be sure to relish the generous and caring spirit that you encounter wherever you go. Lunch is spent at the delightful Snappy Lunch. Snappy’s was mentioned on The Andy Griffith Show, and Andy ate there as a young boy growing up in Mount Airy. The restaurant is famous for the pork chop sandwich, which was created by restaurant owner, Charles Dowell, who has been at Snappy Lunch for more than 50 years. More recently in a television news interview, Andy talked about getting a hot dog and a bottle of pop for 15 cents at the Snappy Lunch when he was a boy. Following our delightful time here, we head back to Pennsylvania, making a stop for dinner together before arriving home to Lancaster. (B, D)

TUE, MAY 6 (Day 2)
This morning we travel to Holland, Michigan, reaching the Dutch Village in time for lunch. The Village has canals, gardens, windmills, carving exhibits, and much more for you to explore. Live entertainment is presented every 15 minutes for your enjoyment. Our afternoon contains a surprise attraction, followed by a drive through the lovely tulip lanes, where millions of blooms provide a spectacular floral display. Our first day in Holland concludes with a dinner and "Tulip Time Salute" production. Young performers from four area high schools will present a musical collage with full orchestra, jazz band and show choirs. Our lodging for tonight is near Grand Rapids. (B, D)

WED, MAY 7 (Day 3)
Today we return to Holland, with our first stop at Windmill Island. Here, in addition to quaint shops, we find "DeZwaan," an authentic Dutch windmill—the only one in the world ever permitted to be transported from the Nether-lands. We watch flour being made, while costumed guides explain the process. Next is Veldheer's Tulip Gardens, with more than a million flowers, windmills, and a canal. If you wish to purchase bulbs for your own garden, they will be shipped to you at the proper time for planting. Also at Veldheers is DeKlomp Wooden Shoe and Delft Factory, where artisans employ "old world" methods to produce beautiful hand-painted Delftware. At Veldheer's, you can also watch klompen - wooden shoes - being made. Poplar and aspen logs are cut, quartered, roughed, shaped, bored, sanded, and finally decorated by hand. You may even want to buy a pair for yourself. They are worn with several pairs of socks to keep them from slipping, and are said to be ideal for gardening. Then, it's time to visit downtown Holland, for lunch and the Volks Parade and Klompen Dancers, with high school students performing various Dutch folk dances in wooden shoes, wearing copies of authentic costumes from various provinces of the Netherlands. From our bleacher seats, before the parade begins, we will observe the favorite tradition of the street-scrubbing ceremony. Our final stop is at Holland Christian High School, where we experience Dutch Heritage, with authentic Dutch costumes, folk dances and songs, and a bountiful meal in the Dutch tradition. We return to our hotel for a second night. (B, D)

THU, MAY 8 (Day 4)
This morning we drive to Grand Rapids where we will have a guided tour of "Radio Bible Class Ministries," Christian publishers of the devotional book, "Our Daily Bread" and many other Christian books, music and videos. Our next stop is to the Kalamazoo Air Zoo, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Air Zoo features flight simulators, a 4-D theatre, live character actors and over 80 rare aircraft. Exhibits highlight the history of flight to the inner workings of aircraft. The Air Zoo is also home to the National Guadalcanal Memorial Museum and the Michigan Aviation Hall of Fame. Then its time to board the coach for a drive to Akron, Ohio, where we enjoy a delicious dinner before heading to our hotel. (B, D)

Leaving the park, we travel to the US/Canadian Border at Niagara Falls. The two countries are separated by the Niagara River, which we cross via Rainbow Bridge. Our hotel accommodations for the next three nights are in Niagara Falls, Ontario, just a short distance from the Falls. A network of pathways winds through the conservatory, and we proceed at our own pace. The Maid Of The Mist is our next stop, and slickers are provided to keep us snug and dry as we cruise through the spray for an up-close look at the base of the mighty waterfall. Lunch is on our own, and we have free time to explore the Table Rock complex, located at the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Next, the IMAX Theater shows us the Falls in a colorful, larger-than-life production. The Daredevil Museum allows us to view some of the feats of those who dared to defy the mighty force of the Falls. After a stop at the Niagara Parks Greenhouse to view the seasonal displays, we drive to dinner at a fine local restaurant. Then before returning to our hotel for the night, we stop to see the mighty Falls illuminated by changing colored lights. (B, D)

You will be able to explore its 98 rooms, hidden passages and tunnels and its lovely gardens. For lunch, we drive to CN Tower, the world’s tallest free-standing structure. Following this delightful meal with a great view, we drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a browsing environment like none other. Take a carriage ride or a classic car tour through the old town or stroll the historic streets of a by-gone era. Dinner is on your own here before we return to our accommodations in Niagara Falls. (B, L)

THU, MAY 15 (Day 4)
This morning we travel south to Corning Glass Center, where we can watch skilled craftspeople as they shape globs of molten glass into exquisite works of art. Stroll through the Museum Of Glass and see priceless Tiffany and Stueben ware. Visit the shops for a un-ique gift item or souvenir, and enjoy lunch in the cafeteria. We continue our journey southward toward home, stopping for a delicious buffet dinner and some browsing time at the Country Cupboard. What an array of memories we will have when we return home.
