FRI, OCT 24 (Day 1)
We travel today to Harrisonburg, Virginia, where our local guide awaits our arrival. Following a delicious family-style lunch, our guide takes us on the back roads of the Shenandoah Valley. We travel through beautiful farmlands and see large dairy farms and poultry houses that make Rockingham County #1 in the turkey industry. We'll learn what it takes to be a successful turkey or chicken farmer and how this industry operates. We will experience the Old Order Mennonite farms and the spectacular panoramic view from Moe Hill overlooking "The Big Valley." A local trout farm welcomes us telling their story of raising fish to stock the ponds and sell to local restaurants. The Virginia Quilt Museum allows us to view significant masterpieces by both early and contemporary quilt artisans. Our overnight accommodations are in Charlottesville, Virginia. (L)

SAT, OCT 25 (Day 2)
A few miles away from the hotel is Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello. Jefferson began construction in 1769 and continued for more than forty years, as he designed and re-designed his home. A tour of this imposing mansion, along with a stroll through the beautifully landscaped gardens, will give us a hearty appetite for lunch at the historic Michie Tavern. We'll enjoy a colonial-style buffet lunch and a tour of the 200-year old property. During this beautiful time of year, we will drive through a portion of the Shenandoah National Park on the Skyline Drive, as we head towards home with fond memories of a lovely weekend. (B, L)

TUE, OCT 28 (Day 1)
We travel northeastward through Pennsylvania, on our way to the beautiful state of Vermont, making rest and meal stops along the way. On the way to our hotel, we have included a stop to Camelot Village for a time of shopping. The Shoppes of Camelot Village are nestled in vintage 18th century barns in historic Bennington, VT, and offer a taste of country, creativity, and nostalgia through the rich diverse offerings of its local artisans. Next, we are treated to a red carpet reception at our home away from home for the next three nights, the splendid Horizon Inn, located in the Green Mountains of Vermont. This evening, we will enjoy dinner together in the Norman Rockwell room and musical entertainment in the lower lounge. (D)

WED, OCT 29 (Day 2)
Following a delicious breakfast, we begin our day with a visit to the Adams Family Farm, featured on "Good Morning America.” Here we will be treated to a wonderful tractor-pulled wagon ride (weather permitting). We will also learn about the history of Vermont and see how maple syrup is made. Yum! That makes us hungry, so we head back to the Inn for a scrumptious lunch together. What could make this day better? Why, a cruise, of course! We will board Mt. Mills Cruise boat where our captain will regale us with tales of the Lost Village of Mt. Mills hidden beneath the waters of the largest totally enclosed lake in Vermont. Following our boat cruise, we will stop at Hogback Mountain, where on a clear day you can see forever—at least 100 miles! You will also have an opportunity to "spend" some time at their gift shoppe, filled with local Vermont products. We travel back to the Inn for a night of dining and entertainment. (B, L, D)

THU, OCT 30 (Day 3)
We awake to a delicious breakfast before boarding our coach to make our way to Stockbridge, MA. Our first stop of the day will be to Chesterwood, the summertime residence and studio of Daniel Chester French, known for his rendering of the Minute Man and Abraham Lincoln Memorial. Our lunch today is at the historic Red Lion Inn, made famous by Norman Rockwell's depiction of it in one of his most famous paintings. The word "charming" does not do this lovely Inn justice! Here we have a delicious lunch together while enjoying our surroundings. Our day wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Norman Rockwell Museum, where we will step back in time and marvel at this talented man's delightful paintings. A tour through his studio is also included! We return for a final dinner together at the Inn, where we will also have free time for swimming, reading or just plain relaxing on our last night here. (B, L, D)

FRI, OCT 31, (Day 4)
This morning, we enjoy breakfast before bidding our new friends "farewell" as we board our coach back to Lancaster. THU, NOV 6 (Day 1)
We are transferred to Harrisburg International Airport for our flight to Honolulu, where we will check into our hotel, located on Waikiki Beach, our home for the next two nights.

FRI, NOV 7 (Day 2)
Today is a marvelous day of leisure, allowing you to soak up the sun and the sights of gorgeous Waikiki Beach. Hawaiian for "Sprouting Water", this is one of the most famous beaches in the world. The two mile stretch of white sand coast is excellent for swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, catamaran and outrigger canoe rides and soaking up the sun. Optional tours will be offered today to attractions on this beautiful island.

SAT, NOV 8 (Day 3)
Today we will board our luxury liner, Norwegian Cruise Line's Pride of America. You will not run out of things to do on this ship! Including 12 restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, health spa, tennis courts, a library and more—your home for the next week will be one you will not soon forget!

SUN, NOV 9 (Day 4)
The first island we sail to is the "Big Island" of Hawaii and to the town of Hilo. Hilo is an old sugar town and houses Hawaii's largest historic core of buildings. Dating back to the turn of the century, the buildings showcase Hawaii's unique architecture, with a splash of western, Art Deco and Renaissance Revival influences. Although Hilo is Hawaii's second largest city (ranked second in size and population to Honolulu), it is a community. It has an old-fashioned comfortable feel. Visit the many unique and one of a kind shops featuring Hawaiiana, vintage island treasures, local crafts, and artwork. Shop for distinctive designer dresses and shirts, then stop off for a bite to eat at one of the more than 3 dozen restaurants nestled in downtown Hilo. Of course, many optional tours are offered to attractions in the area, including "Volcano National Park."

MON, NOV 10 (Day 5)
Hawaii is known for white-sand beaches and crystal clear waters. Palm trees sway gently, and soft breezes carry the scent of fragrant plumeria. Visitors to Hawaii can hike the crater of a dormant volcano or explore a mist-shrouded valley. Each of the major islands—Oahu, Kauai, the Big Island, Maui and Lanai—has a character all its own and provides a unique Hawaii travel experience. Today we arrive on the island of Maui, often called "The Valley Isle," a name that implies a sort of relaxed peacefulness.

TUE, NOV 11 (Day 6)
We spend the bulk of the day here in Maui so make sure that you see it all before our early evening departure.

WED, NOV 12 (Day 7)
Today we go back to the other side (the sunny side) of the "The Big Island," where we drop anchor at Kona. Kona is a district located on the west side of the Big Island of Hawaii, which is the easternmost island of the Hawaiian Island chain. Kona is famous for its homegrown coffee, macadamia nuts, scuba diving, sunsets and much more. There is so much to do here—you won't know where to start!

THU, NOV 13 (Day 8)
Beautiful Nawiliwili is your passage into the sacred "Garden Isle" of Kauai, the northernmost island of the Hawaiian chain. We spend the day here in this lush tropical setting with many possible tours from which to choose.

FRI, NOV 14 (Day 9)
Our afternoon departure from Kauai allows for more time to spend on this magnificent island. Enjoy the rest of the day at sea aboard one of Norwegian Cruise Line's newest vessels.

SAT, NOV 15/SUN, NOV 16 (Days 10 & 11)
This morning, we disembark in Honolulu, where we board our evening flight to Harrisburg and are transferred to Lancaster.

Tonight, why not enjoy some delicious Tuscan cuisine? We spend the next two nights in Florence. (B)

FRI, NOV 14 (Day 7)
Spend this day at leisure in beautiful Florence. Your Tour Director will advise you on the best places to shop for hand-made leather and 18-carat gold jewelry, all located in the Santa Croce district, where fine craftsmen have worked for centuries.
