- Off we go on the 2019 Grandparents and Grandchildren Mystery Trip — to Eastland Alpacas in Mt. Joy and T&D Cats near Selinsgrove, PA.
- We put on plastic booties to keep our shoes (and the coach!) clean.
- All the alpacas had just been shorn, but the shearer left many of their heads au natural.
- Everyone got to feed an alpaca is they wanted to.
- At first, the youngsters were intimidated by the overt friendliness of the alpacas, but it did not take long until they were hugging them.
