Tour Director Thoughts/Highlights: Tours of Hooper Island and Smith Island. Dorchester County has a very traditional way of life that they’ve maintained since being one of the first settlements in U.S. The group took a one-hour narrated tour of Hooper Island, then boarded a boat and enjoyed a two hour cruising tour to Smith Island, which is only accessible by boat! We enjoyed a big family style crab luncheon, a little free time on Smith Island, and then relaxed on the two hour cruise back. It was a beautiful day!
