Tour Director Highlights: The trip started with a lunch stop where we sat around a hibachi grill and watched our meal prepared in front of us, with some added entertainment. We had a beautiful fall day for a train ride along the South Branch of the Potomac River with eagle sightings and narrators providing history of spots along the way. A six-mile portion of the ride was through a trough with views of the river, the track, and mountains on either side. It was a very pleasant fall foliage excursion.
