Day 1

• Transfer from Lancaster to the airport for our flight to Fairbanks, AK, Alaska’s Golden Heart City
• Overnight Fairbanks

Day 2

• Step back in time aboard the sternwheeler Riverboat Discovery (lunch included)
• Travel to Denali National Park for a two-night stay at a beautiful 20-acre riverside McKinley Chalet Resort
• Overnight in Denali, AK (1st of 2 nights) (L)

Day 3

• Enjoy the unforgettable Tundra Wilderness Tour This 6-8 hour fully narrated sightseeing excursion is a deep dive into Denali National Park—the very best chance of seeing both the mountain itself and Denali’s iconic wildlife (lunch snack included).

Day 4

• Board the luxurious domed rail cars of the McKinley Explorer bound for Anchorage
• Overnight in Anchorage, AK

Day 5

• Journey on a scenic rail along Turnagain Arm aboard the cruise train before embarking our ship
• Board the Holland America® Nieuw Amsterdam for a week of cruising

Day 6

• Relax on a leisurely first day on the sea highlighted by afternoon cruising to Hubbard Glacier—North America’s longest tidewater glacier

Day 7

• Cruise the ice-studded fjords of Glacier Bay National Park, a national treasure, for a full eight hours as a Park Service Ranger narrates

Day 8

• Step back to the days of the last great gold rush in the port town of Skagway and choose from several excursions plus have time to shop

Day 9

• Browse the Alaska Capital of Juneau and opt for exciting shore excursions

Day 10

• Stroll the uniquely Alaska port of Ketchikan, famous for its rich native culture, salmon fishing and scenic Misty Fjords

• Cruise a full day of scenic Inside Passage and immerse yourself in Holland America® Line elegance
