Day 1

Travel to Lewisburg, WV and take a tour of the “Secret Bunker” at Project Greek Island. This bunker was built during the Cold War at the height of nuclear panic across the United States, beneath what the public thought was simply an addition to the hotel proper. Experience the epitome of grand resort dining with an included dinner at The Greenbrier’s Main Dining Room. With its dazzling chandeliers, stately columns, and arched windows, this setting has hosted guests with a warm Southern smile for over a century. Overnight Lewisburg, WV (D)

Day 2

Travel to Pigeon Forge, TN and enjoy free time, shopping, and lunch on your own at The Island in Pigeon Forge. The Island boasts 23 acres of entertainment in an inviting setting. With over 80 shops, restaurants and attractions, The Island combines all things fun, in a safe environment where you can eat, shop, and relax. Check into your hotel in Pigeon Forge for a two-night stay. Head to the Titanic Museum for a self-guided tour. This museum opens the door to the past in its one-of-a-kind way letting “passengers” experience what it was like to walk the hallways, parlors, cabins, and Grand Staircase of the Titanic while surrounded by more than 400 artifacts directly from the ship and its passengers. Day 3

Enjoy a guided tour of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, America’s most visited national park. A guided tour offers an enriching an immersive experience in one of America’s most beautiful and biodiverse natural landscapes. Led by knowledgeable guides, the tour provides insights into the park’s rich history, diverse wildlife, and stunning scenery. After your tour, spend the afternoon in Historic Downtown Gatlinburg exploring the shops and having lunch on your own at one of the many local restaurants. Take in the beauty of springtime in the Smokies at the Dollywood Food & Flower Festival. The festival celebrates the beautiful blossoms and fresh flavors of the season with larger-than-life Mosaicultures, unique foods, and new stage shows. Journey through the “Secret Life of Dolly Parton” at Dollywood through the Dolly Parton experience. While at the park, enjoy dinner with an included meal voucher. (2nd of 2 nights) (B, D)

Day 4

Depart Pigeon Forge for Oak Ridge, TN and a tour of the “Secret City” (valid ID required). Explore Oak Ridge’s pivotal role in WWII and the Manhattan Project on this guided tour. Begin with the Secret City, uncovering life in this covert town. Visit the Y-12 National Security Complex, American Museum of the Science and Energy, and other local attractions. Continue to Abingdon, VA and enjoy an included dinner at the Martha Washington Inn. Overnight Abingdon, VA (B, L, D)
