Day 1
Travel north through Pennsylvania’s rolling landscapes to the Chautauqua Lake shore in New York state. Enjoy a guided driving tour through the historic Chautauqua Institution, a charming community that’s been a hub for the arts, education, religion and recreation for over a century. Board the Chautauqua Belle for a nostalgic steamboat adventure, complete with a summer barbecue as the shoreline drifts by. Day 2
Get ready for a day steeped in comedy and nostalgia as we join the 75th anniversary celebration of the “I Love Lucy” show that debuted Oct. 15, 1951. A local guide leads the Lucytown Tour through Jamestown, tracing the life and legacy of Lucille Ball, followed by a visit to the Lucy-Desi Museum. Lunch is served at Ricky’s Tropicana Room, keeping the spirit of classic television alive. The afternoon continues at the National Comedy Center, an immersive exploration of humor in all its forms. Day 3
Another hearty breakfast begins a day rich with regional flavor and culture. The morning features a visit to the Grape Discovery Center, where a chef demonstration highlights the area’s grape-growing heritage. The journey continues to the Dunkirk Lighthouse for a guided tour and lunch overlooking the water. Explore the Roger Tory Peterson Institute, celebrating the renowned naturalist and artist. Stop at the Robert H. Jackson Center and learn about the Supreme Court justice and his influential role in history. Visit Lawson Center Boat Museum, located in Bemus Point, NY, a charming resort town and destination that celebrates the area’s rich maritime heritage and Chautauqua Lake’s boating history.
