Day 1 -Tuesday
Head south stopping at Pier 41 Seafood in Lumberton, NC. Overnight in Florence, SC. (D)
Day 2 – Wednesday
Take a morning cruise off the shores of Beaufort. Lunch included at a popular local restaurant. Explore Beaufort on a carriage tour of this historic city located on Port Royal Island and known for its antebellum mansions and streets framed by moss-draped live oak trees. Head to Amelia Island, with 13 miles of pristine beach, saltwater marsh estuaries and historic Southern charm. First of two nights in Fernandina Beach, FL. (B,L)
Day 3 – Thursday
Begin the day on a guided trolley tour of Amelia Island. Enjoy lunch downtown and explore Fernandina Beach in the afternoon. Sunset cruise and dinner. 2nd of 2 nights in Fernandina Beach. (B,D)
Day 4 – Friday
Head south with a stop at Buc-ees before climbing aboard Ripley’s Red Train Tour of St. Augustine. Take in views of this charming city including historical sites such as the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument. Lunch on your own in downtown St Augustine. Take a scenic cruise in the afternoon and have dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in St. Augustine. (B,D)
Day 5-Saturday
Spend the entire day at the Kennedy Space Center which includes exhibits, guided tour, astronaut hall of fame and much more! Overnight in Orlando. (B,D)
Day 6 – Sunday
Travel west to visit the Clearwater Aquarium with lunch on your own. Watch the waves and smell the salt air for a few hours at Clearwater Beach. Enjoy a dinner cruise and overnight in the Clearwater Beach area. (B,D)
Day 7-Monday
Today includes a Dolphin Cruise in Tarpon Springs followed by an exciting visit to the Florida National History Museum in Gainesville. Overnight in Gainesville. (B,D)
Day 8- Tuesday
Travel to Savannah for a guided tour and lunch at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force museum. Historic guided tour of downtown Savannah follows and dinner at a popular seafood local restaurant. Overnight in the Savannah area. (B,L,D)
Day 9- Wednesday
Travel north with a stop at the Billy Graham Library, retracing Billy’s dynamic journey via multimedia presentations, interactive kiosks, photos and memorabilia. Explore the Graham Family Homestead where Billy lived from age nine. Reflect at the Prayer Garden and burial place. Overnight in Charlotte. (B,D)
Day 10 – Thursday
Travel home with a stop at the National Bridge Historic Hotel for lunch and savor freshly prepared cuisine and Southern hospitality at one of the best Natural Bridge restaurants. Visit the historical Natural Bridge, once owned by Thomas Jefferson and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a geological formation comprising a 215-foot tall Natural Bridge, a limestone gorge carved out by Cedar Creek.
