Be greeted with a warm “Afternoon Tea” at the beautiful, historic Middlebury Inn in Vermont, our home for three nights.  Sample some of Vermont’s finest cheeses at Dakin Farm, visit the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, have a traditional Austrian meal at Trapp Lodge and watch craftsmen at Danforth Pewter.

Day 1 *Be greeted with a warm “Afternoon Tea” at the beautiful, historic Middlebury Inn in Vermont *Take a walking tour of the charming town of Middlebury, or relax by the fireplace until dinner in the Historic Founders Ballroom *Overnight in Middlebury, VT (1st of 3 nights) (D)

Day 2 *Explore Dakin Farm *Sample some of Vermont’s finest cheeses, jams, and learn about the syrup making process *Visit the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory *Drive through beautiful mountains of Stowe *Travel to the Trapp Family Lodge for a traditional Austrian meal and enjoy a “first-hand” account of the Trapp family singers *See the Cold Hollow Cider Mill demonstration and have samples of cider and cider doughnuts! *Learn the amazing story of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory *Enjoy a light soup and sandwich dinner back at the Inn with a free evening to relax (B, L, D)

Day 3 *Begin with Maple Landmark Factory, home of the “name train” *Watch craftsmen at Danforth Pewter *Eat lunch at a local New England restaurant *Travel to Alpaca Farm, to see wool spinning and beautiful alpacas *Return to Middlebury Inn for some free time downtown or rest *Enjoy a wonderful evening meal at the famed Waybury Inn (where the prelude to the Bob Newhart Show was made) (B, L, D)

Day 4 *Tour Yankee Candle Company *Have lunch at historic Chandler’s Tavern, next to Yankee Candle *Travel home to Lancaster (B, L)
