Day 1 *Travel to Essex, CT to board the Essex Steam Train, riding along the Connecticut River *Cruise the Connecticut River on the Becky Thatcher Riverboat  *Dinner and overnight in Mystic, CT (B, D)

Day 2 *Experience Whydah Pirate Museum  *Cruise the Hyannis Harbor, seeing Great Island, Squaw Island, the Kennedy Memorial, Point Gammon Light and historic Kennedy Compound  *Dinner and overnight in Falmouth, MA (B, D)

Day 3 *Journey through the White Mountains on the Hobo Scenic Railroad in Lincoln, NH *Drive the Kancamagus Highway, New Hampshire’s scenic Route 112, well known as one of the best fall foliage viewing areas in the country *View breathtaking views of the White Mountains and Swift River *Dinner and overnight in Lincoln, NH at the Indian Head Resort (1st of 2 nights) (B, D)

Day 4 *Cruise Squam Lake, learning about the natural forces that created this lake Binoculars are available for wildlife viewing. *Browse the quaint village of Meredith, NH, overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee *Have free time at hotel or visit the Mount Washington Observatory Weather Discover Center *Dine on the “Chocorua,” or Dining car aboard the Conway Scenic Railroad *Dinner and overnight in Lincoln, NH (B, D)

Day 5 *Tour famous Cabot Cheese Factory, watching talented cheese makers and enjoy samples *Visit the Morse Farm, a seventh-generation maple syrup producer, making maple syrup the old-fashioned way *Browse and have lunch in Montpelier, VT, the smallest capital in the nation *Relax aboard a cruise of Lake Champlain, viewing spectacular scenery of New York’s Adirondack Mountains and Vermont’s Green Mountains *Overnight at the Mountain Top Inn and Resort *Dinner and overnight in Chittenden, VT (B, D)

Day 6 *Visit the Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site in Plymouth Notch, VT, birthplace and boyhood home of the 30th president of the U.S. *Stop at Quechee Gorge, Vermont’s “Little Grand Canyon” *See the Vermont Marble Museum, telling the unique story of people and places that made up Vermont’s marble industry *Dinner and overnight in Chittenden, VT (B, D)

Day 7 *Have a guided tour of West Point Military Academy grounds in Highland Falls, NY  *Dinner in Clinton, NJ   *Arrive in Lancaster (B, D)
