Day 1
Meet your local guide and visit Radio City Music Hall for a backstage tour and an inside look at the legendary Rockettes. Lunch on your own in Rockefeller Center. Depart on a Liberty Island sight-seeing tour down the mighty Hudson River, with spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline and Statue of Liberty. Depart for Long Island and check into Viana Hotel and Spa in Westbury, NY for 2 nights. Dinner included (D)

Day 2
Meet your local guide for a day of touring and exploring Long Island’s Washington Spy Trail, where America’s first spies helped shape the revolution. Visit the Conklin Farmhouse Museum in Huntington, NY. The Conklin house is part of the 250th celebration although it also contains artifacts from three periods of the country’s history, including the Revolutionary War. Lunch is included at The Country House built circa 1710. Travel on to tour the famous Brewster House where Joseph Brewster operated the house as a tavern and general store and where secrets of George Washington’s Culper Spy Ring were exchanged to help win the Revolutionary War. Lastly, a visit to Raynham Hall, where Washington’s intelligence operative Robert Townsend lived. Dinner is included followed by a Sunset Cruise on the waters of Oyster Bay. Day 3
A local guide will be with you as you tour the remarkable Vanderbilt Museum and historic gold coast mansion, one of the remaining estates on the North Shore of Long Island. Stop at Oheka Castle, a palatial country residence where entertaining in the 1900s was an art! Lunch included at a traditional diner. Stop in Dumbo (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass), one of Brooklyn’s most visited neighborhoods, with cobblestone streets, dramatic architecture and views across the river. Enjoy ice cream or chocolates at a famous chocolatier. Travel home (B, L)
