Day 1

Travel south to Virginia Beach. Enjoy some leisure time strolling the boardwalk or relaxing on the beach and taking in the ocean air. Dinner is included at Waterman’s Surfside Grill, an oceanfront restaurant known for its fresh seafood, fine dining atmosphere, and beautiful views of the Atlantic. Day 2

Begin in Hampton with reserved seating for the Parade of Sail celebrating SAIL250 and Harborfest, honoring the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. This event features international tall ships, one of the largest fireworks displays on the East Coast, a captivating drone show, Navy exhibits and demos, artisan foods and beverages, and live entertainment. Enjoy lunch at Paradise Ocean Club, overlooking the beach with stunning water views. Step into sweet history at Doumar’s, birthplace of the waffle cone. Watch a live demo of the original cone-making machine and enjoy a scoop of handmade ice cream crafted as it was in the early 1900s. Dine at Town Point Club in Norfolk, overlooking the Elizabeth River. (2nd of 3 nights) (B, L, D)

Day 3

Explore the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, relaxing on the beach or walking the boardwalk and nearby shops. In the afternoon, enjoy a dolphin-watching cruise with the Virginia Aquarium aboard the Atlantic Explorer, a catamaran featuring outdoor seating and a climate-controlled cabin. Look for bottlenose dolphins, seabirds, sea turtles, and other wildlife. Enjoy a narrated City Tour of Virginia Beach, sharing local stories, historic landmarks, and the character of the community. Dinner at Captain George’s Seafood Buffet, famous for its all-you-can-eat seafood offerings including crab legs, shrimp, oysters, scallops, and more. (3rd of 3 nights) (B, D)

Day 4

Travel to Williamsburg, VA, for a guided tour of Colonial Williamsburg, a remarkable recreation of an 18th-century town filled with costumed interpreters, historic shops and a modern shopping district.
