Experience the charm and coastal beauty of South Carolina’s Grand Strand on this delightful spring tour that blends soft beach cove breezes, strolls on the boardwalk, famous theater productions, and a relaxing river cruise.

Included theatre and concerts: Wednesday night at your choice of either Carolina Opry or Alabama theaters; Thursday & Saturday night concerts at “Singing in the Sun” event.

Optional addition on Friday night: Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre or additional night at the “Singing in the Sun” event.  (Upcharge – $36 per ticket)

Day 1

Travel to Myrtle Beach to stay at an ocean-view resort for 5 nights of comfortable accommodations. Overnight Myrtle Beach, SC (1st of 5 nights) (L)

Day 2

Start the day with an interesting tour of the Grand Strand, learning about its special history and charm. Optional shopping and lunch at Broadway at the Beach with its unique shops and restaurants. Dinner at the Chestnut Hill restaurant, which is a BNT favorite! Take in a show at Carolina Opry’s Time Warp production featuring the best music of the 60s, 70s and 80s OR the Alabama Theater with its amazing music and dance numbers. Day 3

Cruise on the Waccamaw River on a nature and wildlife boat tour hearing about the history of the river and its surroundings. The afternoon is free to splash in the pool or sit by the ocean. Dinner at Chuck’s Steakhouse. A variety of inspirational music will be performed at the MB Convention Center, including the Hoppers and Brian Free & Assurance, followed by speaker, Tyler Gaulden at the Singing In The Sun event. (3rd of 5 nights) (B, D)

Day 4

Tour Hopsewee Plantation with an included lunch to follow. The afternoon is free to relax at the resort. Optional entertainment “Singing in the Sun” at the MB Convention Center, with performances by Booth Brothers Reunion, The Inspirations, Karen Peck & New River, with speaker, CT Townsend -OR- at the new Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre. *(upcharge for these events) (4th of 5 nights) (B, L)

The day is free to spend as you wish at the resort. Optional shopping and lunch on your own at Barefoot Landing. Dinner at Original Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood restaurant. A variety of music will be performed at the MB Convention Center, including the Triumphant Quartet, Truesong, and Southbound followed by speaker, Ray Flynn for the Singing In The Sun event.
