Head north to Grand Rapids, MI. Spend some time exploring CHIHULY at Meijer Gardens – named the Best Sculpture Park in the U.S. in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Day 3
Journey through breathtaking scenery, fascinating history, and enduring legend with guided tours of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park and the scenic Pierce Stocking Drive. Marvel at the massive sand dunes towering above Lake Michigan. Dinner and overnight Traverse City, MI (B, D)

Day 4
Step back in time with a visit to Castle Farms, one of Michigan’s premier historic attractions. Guided driving tour of Petoskey, featuring highlights such as Petoskey Chautauqua with its Victorian gingerbread cottages and the town’s meaningful ties to Ernest Hemingway. Take a memorable ride across the iconic Mackinac Bridge – the “Mighty Mac.” Overnight Sault Ste Marie, MI (B, L)

Day 5
Take a Soo Locks Boat Tour, cruising through one of the world’s longest and busiest lock systems. Next, enjoy a ranger-led tour of the magnificent Tahquamenon Falls, one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi. Cap off the day with a relaxing Lake Superior cruise showcasing the amazing Pictured Rocks, famous for their towering, multi-colored cliffs. Overnight Munising, MI (B, L)

Day 6
Travel to Mackinac Crossings for shopping and lunch on your own. Board the ferry to enchanting Mackinac Island for check-in and a group dinner. Overnight Mackinac Island, MI (1st of 2 nights) (B, D)

Day 7
Climb aboard a horse-drawn carriage for a narrated tour of Mackinac Island’s charming and car-free streets. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the Grand Hotel, a National Historic Landmark and the world’s largest summer hotel since 1887-one of the last surviving Grand Dames of the Gilded Age. Spend the afternoon at leisure- browse downtown with its many fudge shops, visit Fort Mackinac, or rent a bicycle and explore the island’s scenic perimeter. (2nd of 2 nights) (B, L)

Ferry back to the mainland and continue to Frankenmuth, MI, known as “Little Bavaria” for its German heritage and charming architecture. Enjoy a hearty family-style meal. Overnight Toledo, OH (B, L)

Tour Warther’s Carving Factory, Museum, and Gardens, showcasing incredible hand-carved masterpieces and the legacy of master carver Ernest “Mooney” Warther. After lunch, begin your journey home, filled with wonderful memories of your Great Lakes adventure. (B, L)
