Day 1

*Arrive in Salt Lake City, UT, the “City of Saints,” founded by Brigham Young

*Enjoy a Welcome Dinner

*Overnight in Salt Lake City (D)

Day 2

*Have a panoramic Salt Lake City tour, featuring Temple Square with its lovely landscaping and famous Tabernacle, the State Capitol, and the University of Utah—site of the opening 2002 Winter Olympics

*Arrive in Moab for our four-night stay

*Overnight in Moab (1st of 4 nights) (B)

Day 3

*Visit Canyonlands National Park, featuring deeply eroded canyons interspersed with sheer-sided mesas and a variety of spires, arches and unusual rock formations. Established as a national park in 1964, the Park is known for its dramatic desert landscape carved by the Colorado River

*Stop at Dead Horse Point State Park, towering high above the Colorado River with its breathtaking views of canyon country and the snaking Colorado River

*Enjoy a Wine Tasting experience outside of Moab. Grapes thrive in the warm and dry climate of southern Utah which is home to several beautiful wineries with picturesque landscapes in the west

*Overnight in Moab (B)

Day 4

*Embark on a full day adventure to Monument Valley

*Enter the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal area offering vistas of stunning rock formations on your way to Monument Valley

*Enjoy an included lunch at Goulding’s Lodge and free time to visit Goulding’s Museum & Trading Post, seeing a collection of Indian artifacts and a movie set from a John Wayne film

*Take a Monument Valley Scenic Drive Tour with a knowledgeable Navajo guide aboard a four-wheel vehicle

*Explore the area’s oddly shaped monoliths, buttes and mesas of red sandstone

*Overnight in Moab (B, L)

Day 5

*Tour Arches National Park, one of our country’s great national parks

*Explore some of the famous arches, over 2,000 in total, and marvel at other red rock formations and canyons. This red-rock wonderland will amaze you with its contrasting colors and formations

*Have a free afternoon to relax or explore Moab on your own

*Enjoy dinner at Canyonlands by Night. The experience features a cowboy-style Dutch oven meal

*Board a Colorado River Cruise, relaxing on a calm-water section of the river

*Watch the unique natural light and narrated sound show on the illuminated canyon walls above the river

*Overnight in Moab (B, D)

Day 6

*Visit Capitol Reef National Park, which lies in Utah’s south-central desert. The area is an oasis of colorful sandstone cliffs, impressive domes, and soaring monoliths. The Park got its name from the great white rock formations which resemble the U.S. Capitol Building and from the sheer cliffs that presented a barrier to early travelers

*Stop at several points of interest including the Visitor Center to learn more about this national treasure

*Arrive in Park City for our overnight stay, home to two world-class ski resorts, film festivals, and beautiful mountain scenery

*Enjoy a Farewell Dinner with our fellow travelers in Park City

*Overnight in Park City (B, D)

Day 7

*Travel to Salt Lake City for our flight home and transfer to Lancaster (B)
