Day 1 *Arrive in Grand Junction, CO, meet your Tour Director and transfer to your hotel *Enjoy a Welcome Dinner (D)

Day 2 *Begin your journey with a spectacular display of sheer cliffs and monolith rock formations at the Colorado National Monument *Visit Colorado’s fertile and burgeoning wine country for a Wine Tasting Experience at a local winery *Travel along the Colorado River, seeing breathtaking views of the surrounding red sandstone cliffs, including the iconic red rock spires of the Fisher Towers *Arrive in scenic Moab, UT for our overnight (1st of 3 nights)  (B)

Day 3 *Tour Arches National Park, the largest concentration of natural stone arches in the world with over 2,000 arches *See impressive red rock formations and canyons, learning about the Native Americans who lived in this region *Relax and explore Moab this evening on your own (B)

Day 4 *See stunning rock formations in the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal area *Enjoy lunch at Goulding’s Lodge *Visit Goulding’s Museum & Trading Post, viewing collections of Native American artifacts and movie memorabilia from some of John Wayne’s Western movies *Board a 4-wheel vehicle, with a Navajo guide, to view a Monument Valley Scenic Drive Tour *Explore the area’s oddly shaped monoliths, buttes and mesas of red sandstone *Overnight in Moab (B, L)

Day 5 *Visit Canyonlands National Park, featuring a variety of spires, arches and unusual rock formations *Stop at Dead Horse Point State Park, offering breathtaking views of canyon country and the snaking Colorado River *Board the newest Rocky Mountain Train and travel the next two days in the SilverLeaf service level *Travel along the Colorado River, seeing the cliffs of Ruby Canyon and stunning mountain scenery  *Enjoy dinner onboard before arriving in Glenwood Springs for the our overnight (B,D)

Day 6 *Continue your Rocky Mountaineer Train rail experience, passing lakes and raging rivers of Arapahoe National Forest, and snow-capped mountains *Cross the Continental Divide, pass through Moffatt Tunnel and lunch onboard *Arrive in the vibrant Mile-High City of Denver for our overnight (1st of 2 nights) (B, L)

Day 7 *Travel to Rocky Mountain National Park, famous for soaring peaks, wild rivers, alpine lakes and an amazing array of flora and fauna Park wildlife includes bighorn sheep, deer, mountain lion, bobcat, black bear, elk, moose and a variety of birds. *Enjoy a Farewell Dinner at a popular local restaurant *Overnight in Denver (B, D)

Day 8 *Depart for our flight home and transfer to Lancaster (B)
