Day 1

Travel westward with stops along the way. Overnight Toledo, OH (L)

Day 2

Continue the journey to Madison, Wisconsin, to settle in for a three-night stay. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight Madison, WI (1st of 3 nights) (B, D)

Day 3

Explore the International Crane Foundation, the only place in the world to see all 15 species of Cranes. Climb aboard Dells Boat Tours-cruise the Wisconsin River to experience the region’s famous sandstone cliffs. Free time for shopping and lunch on own. Ride through the Lost Canyon a steep-walled canyon carved by glacial meltwater, on a horse-drawn wagon. Tour the Al Ringling Mansion located in charming downtown Baraboo, WI. View the grand opulence of the home of one of America’s greatest showmen! Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in the Dells. (2nd of 3 nights) (B, D)

Day 4

A local guide joins the group for a full day of discovering Madison. Highlights include Olbrich Gardens, a 16-acre botanical garden with exotic plants and a waterfall, the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, a museum that collects and preserves stories of Wisconsin veterans from the Civil War to present day, and an architectural tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright–designed Monona Terrace Convention Center, highlighting how the building embodies Wright’s geometric principles. End the day at Fireside Dinner Theatre for their signature buffet and performance of Disney’s “FROZEN.” (3rd of 3 nights) (B, D)

Day 5

Depart Wisconsin and drive around Lake Michigan and Chicago. Head to Shipshewana, IN for some free time to browse the shops and enjoy an included dinner at a popular restaurant. Overnight Toledo, OH (B, D)

Tour the house and gardens of Stan Hywet Hall, featuring a historic 65-room Tudor Revival Manor House, Gothic Revival Conservatory, Gate Lodge, and approximately 70 acres of artistically landscaped grounds and formal gardens. Travel home making appropriate stops along the way. (B, D)
