Planning your next getaway is exciting, and you may have questions as you proceed with your plans. The following questions and answers may be helpful in registering for a tour.
General Questions
Q: What is included in the tour price?
A: Each BNT tour includes motorcoach transportation, a professional Tour Director, hotel accommodations, attractions, and meals listed as included. Please note that travelers are responsible for meals listed as “on your own”.
Q: Where are your departure/pick-up locations?
A: Our standard pick-up location is at Calvary Church in Lancaster, PA. We have additional pick-up locations that vary by tour, depending on the direction we will be traveling. These potential stops include Ephrata, Harrisburg, and York. For more information, visit our Pickup Locations page.
Q: Do I need a Passport or Real ID to travel?
A: If you are traveling internationally, you will need a valid Passport that does not expire for 6 months after the return date of the tour. For domestic travel, you will need a Real ID if you are flying or entering a government facility that requires ID. We recommend that travelers bring a valid ID, such as a Driver’s License, on all tours.
Q: Do you provide a Tour Director on each tour?
A: We provide a Tour Director on all BNT tours. However, a Tour Director may not be provided on our partner tours, subject to reservations and availability.
Health, Safety & Accessibility
Q: Are your motorcoaches wheelchair accessible?
A: If you require a wheelchair lift to gain access to the motorcoach, please request this upon reservation. This is subject to accessible motorcoach availability at the time of the tour.
Q: Do the motorcoaches have restrooms onboard?
A: Yes, all motorcoaches are equipped with a restroom onboard.
Q: What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
A: If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, such as a peanut or gluten allergy, please let us know at the time of reservation so that we may notify the restaurants on tour and make alternative arrangements.
Q: Can I bring my walker or mobility scooter?
A: Yes, you are welcome to bring your walker or other mobility device. Please inform our reservationists upon booking if you will be bringing a device so that we can make any necessary arrangements with the coach and any attractions as necessary. Travelers must have a traveling companion that can assist in pushing a wheelchair or assist with another mobility device. Please refer to our walking guide to be sure that the tour is right for you. Bookings & Payments
Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: Reservations can be made by calling our office at 717-397-0000 or online through BobNeffTours.com.
Q: When are deposits and final payment due?
A: Deposits for overnight tours are due upon booking. Final payment date is variable by tour and will be listed on your invoice. Full payment is due upon booking for one-day tours.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Please refer to the BNT-Initiated Tour Cancellation and Traveler-Initiated Tour Cancellation policies on the General Information section of our website.
Q: When should I get travel insurance?
A: Travel insurance should be purchased within 14 days of making a reservation to cover pre-existing conditions. For more information, visit the Travel Protection section of our website.
On the Road
Q: What is BNT’s standard for hotel accommodations?
A: BNT makes every effort to ensure a good night’s rest in clean, comfortable, quality hotels. Unless noted otherwise, most hotels are equipped with two queen-size beds. A rollaway bed option may be available for triple and quad room reservations, pending each hotel, for an additional charge. Requests for handicapped accessible and/or adjacent rooms can be made at the time of reservation but are not guaranteed.
Q: Is there assigned seating on the bus?
A: Yes, seating is assigned according to reservation date.
Q: Can I bring snacks or drinks on the motorcoach?
A: You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks with a lid with you on the motorcoach.
Special Offers & Group Travel
Q: Do you offer discounts for groups or returning customers?
A: BNT encourages friends and family members to travel together and is pleased to offer discounts for groups of 6+ travelers. To qualify for group discount, travelers must book their reservations on the same day and have their group of 6 or more confirmed and ready to book before registration. Q: Can I book a private group tour?
A: Yes, we can customize our tour itineraries for a private group tour. Please note that we specialize in motorcoach tours with groups of 20+
Q: Do I need to bring my own luggage tags?
A: Luggage tags will be provided in the final details packet which will be sent to travelers approximately 2-3 weeks ahead of the tour.
