Day 1

*Travel to the home of “Punxsutawney Phil” and tour of Punxsutawney, PA, starting at Gobbler’s Knob, the site of the annual Groundhog Day celebration

*Lunch at the town’s many eateries

*Arrive at the Elk Country Visitor’s Center in the quaint town of Benezette

*Ride a horse-drawn wagon—one of the best ways to experience Elk Country

*Dine at the Visitor’s Center before heading to your overnight hotel in St. Mary’s, PA (D)

Day 2

*Experience the Skywalk at Kinzua State Park, billed as the “Eight Wonder of the World.” This pedestrian walkway extends 600 feet out onto the Kinzua Gorge with an octagon shaped overlook providing stunning eight-mile forest vistas and a glass view of the valley below

*Travel to “Happy Valley” for a guided tour of Penn State University, including an ice cream stop and dinner before heading for home (B, D)
