Lake George & Lake Placid NY
Imagine immersing yourself in the Adirondacks in the middle of “leaf peeping” season…
In early October, we’ll head to New York in peak foliage season, where we’ll drop anchor at Lake George for a three night stay in deluxe hotel accommodations with Adirondack views. Lake George, aptly known as the “Queen of the American Lakes,” is a 32-mile body of water featuring 180 lakes, lush mountain scenery, and early American history. On the 4-day BNT Lake George & Lake Placid NY tour, you can bask in stunning scenery by steamboat, travel deep into the mountains, soak up history, and dine lakeside.
On Day 2, we’ll visit Saratoga Springs, tour Fort William Henry Museum, and take a drive up to Prospect Mountain, the perfect spot to take in the view. We’ll jaunt north to Lake Placid on Day 3, where we’ll visit the site of the 1980 Winter Olympics, tour the Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum, and browse the Olympic Village.
To top off this 4 day tour, we’ll hop aboard the steamboat, Lac du Saint Sacrement, for a two-hour luncheon cruise before heading home.
